This year’s Person of the Year gala is held on February 8. The event will include an incredible performance lineup. Grammy winners Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Chris Stapleton are set to perform, as well as past Grammy nominees Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. The event will also feature performances by P!nk, Willie Nelson, Lauren Daigle, and more. Parton will close out the evening’s performances. Proceeds from the event will benefit the MusiCares Foundation. The MusiCares event will take place just 2 days before the 61st annual Grammy Awards.

About MusiCares

The MusiCares Foundation was established in 1989 to provide a safety net for music people in times of need. This includes resources and services that cover a wide range of financial, medical, and personal emergencies. The Person of the Year gala has played a significant role in the foundation’s efforts and takes place each year during Grammy Week. The gala has honored iconic artists over the years, and Dolly Parton is no exception. Past honorees include Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Lionel Richie, and Bob Dylan.
