  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 orange, rind and juice
  • 1 cup apples, chopped

  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Oil for frying

In a mixing bowl, combine milk, egg, sugar, and melted margarine. Add orange juice, rind, chopped apples, and vanilla to the mixture. In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until they are blended, but do not over mix. Heat oil in a skillet until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
