Smoky Gap will feature an Americana theme and be centered around Main Street in Sevierville! This entertainment hub will include attractions, restaurants, retail stores and a giant clock tower! A crown jewel attraction will be announced at a later date and is expected to be a centerpiece of Smoky Gap.

This 20-acre Smoky Gap district will be located at the primary exit (407) used to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is expected to open in 2025. The 407: Gateway to Adventure project has a price tag of $250 million and is owned and operated by Kituwah LLC, a subsidiary of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

A new exit, Exit 408, is planned for further down the interstate to help alleviate traffic congestion in the always popular area.

Things to Do at Smoky Gap

You’ll be able to spend all day exploring the entertainment options at Smoky Gap! The family-friendly attractions, stellar restaurants and special stores and shops at Smoky Gap will leave you with plenty of fun to find!

Smoky Gap will be an immersive experience that emphasizes storytelling and history! Puy du Fou, a historical theme park company based in France, will contribute to the immersive aspects of Smoky Gap.

Tenants of the entertainment district will create their own programming options and immersive aspects are expected to change during the year.
