Previous Story: In the press release announcing the new Pigeon Forge show, Dolly said, “This new story is very special to me. That is why during my first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains this year, I will open a new show that celebrates my family before I was born. With the success of my family stories “Coat of Many Colors” and “Christmas of Many Colors – Circle of Love” over the last two years, I knew this was a story I wanted to tell and the theatre in Pigeon Forge near the Island is the perfect venue.”

The CEO of World Choice Investments, LLC mentioned that customers have been asking for a show like this, so they are looking forward to giving people the opportunity to learn more about Dolly’s family.

Instead of Lumberjack Adventure, the new theater will tell the story of Dolly Parton’s family. It is set to open this spring at the theater located on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures Dinner Show

Dolly revealed that the name of the new show will be Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures. The show will include new acts as the Owens and the Partons battle for the Pigeon Forge mill. We have also heard that Dolly’s parents are expected to take center stage!

In the press release, Dolly said, “things were a lot more exciting before I was born and you’ll see it in this show! I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product in May after all the work we have put in this winter.” The show will include new acts designed for the theater stage and will include Dolly’s music, of course.
