Dollywood Wins Again: All The Details About Dollywood’s 3 New Golden Ticket Awards
Have you heard the news!? Dollywood has just been awarded 3 more awards on top of being named America’s best theme park back in June of 2022. That is 4 awards this year let alone! This is fantastic news for celebration not only for Dollywood, but the Smoky Mountains in general! Dollywood’s future is looking bright! Here are all the details about Dollywood’s 3 new Golden Ticket Awards:
Best Guest Experience Award
The Golden Ticket Awards have been around since 1998 and were established by Amusement Today to highlight success in the amusement park industry. The 2022 Golden Ticket Awards had 27 categories to place in and awards were given to theme parks all across the world. Dollywood was awarded the Best Guest Experience award and placed high in more of the other categories! The Best Guest Experience award means Dollywood scored highest in cleanliness, value, and friendliness! What a great honor for Dollywood!
Best Kids’ Area Award
Dollywood was also awarded at the Golden Ticket Awards the Best Kids’ Area award! The theme park has always been known to be very kid-friendly and family-oriented providing many attractions and things to do for children. At the award ceremony, Dollywood was praised for Wildwood Grove and their new upcoming attraction Big Bear Mountain coaster! There are so many wonderful things to do in nature-themed Wildwood Grove for children including rides and attractions such as Dragonflier, Great Tree Swing, Hidden Hollow, Treetop Tower, The Wildwood Tree, The Mad Mockingbird, Black Bear Trail, and Frogs & Fireflies! Kids are going to love the biggest expansion yet, Big Bear Mountain! This giant coaster will circle all of Wildwood Grove and have top onboard audio. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
Best Christmas Event Award
Dollywood is known for its Christmas festivals! This was once again verified after Dollywood won The Golden Ticket Awards Best Christmas Event award. Did you know Dollywood is not new to winning this award? This is actually the 14th consecutive win for the theme park in this category! Every holiday season, Dollywood lights up the theme park with millions of lights, has delicious seasonal treats, and celebrates the time of year with top holiday shows!
