Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Pigeon Forge Adds New TBI Exhibit
Your favorite crime museum in Pigeon Forge is unveiling a new exhibit this July! The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation exhibit will give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at TBI’s work and cases in their community. We’ve got all the details on the new TBI exhibit at the Alcatraz East Crime Museum.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Exhibit
Alcatraz East Crime Museum teamed up with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to shine a light on the important work their agents, forensic examiners and specialists do to keep the state of Tennessee safe. TBI has existed in various forms since the 1950s, but many don’t realize the hard work they do daily. Their Criminal Investigation Division has more than 1,000 open cases at any given time. It conducts its own independent investigations, including drug violations, domestic terrorism, fugitive recovery and child victimization. The Alcatraz exhibit showcases the history of the Bureau’s most famous cases and also brings attention to a local cold case and current missing child cases.
The exhibit will open on July 13, 2020 and run through July of 2021.
