Watch a Preview of the Gazillion Bubble Show
The Gazillion Bubble show is better seen than described, so before you read any more, check out this sneak preview of the show. In the short video below, you will see bubble artist Deni Yang perform some of his signature tricks:
Origins of the Gazillion Bubble Show
The Gazillion Bubble Show was started more than 25 years ago by Deni’s father, Fan Yang. Originally, Fan appeared in circus-style shows that included martial arts, knife throwing, juggling, and pyro acrobatics. When Fan began introducing bubble art into his performances, this new segment of the show became a breakout hit. Fan soon dropped the other elements of his show to focus exclusively on bubbles.
The key to Fan’s magical bubbles is his signature bubble solution. Using a “secret formula”, Fan was able to create smoke bubbles, bubbles inside of bubbles, giant bubbles, bouncing bubbles, millions of tiny bubbles, and even more breathtaking displays. Fan even pioneered a way to put people inside of bubbles – an amazing trick that has been performed on stage with Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Chris Rock, Peter Dinklage, and many other celebrities.
Over the years, the Gazillion Bubble Show has been featured on a number of television shows, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The David Letterman Show, The View, and many more. The show has been staged in Japan, Korea, Italy, France, Greece, Germany, Canada, and around the United States.
A Family Affair
Starring in the Gazillion Bubble Show has become a Yang family tradition! Fan’s wife Ana and his brother Jano are both accomplished bubble artists, as are his children Deni and Melody.
At the Gazillion Bubble Show at Dollywood, Deni takes center stage. Deni puts his own spin on the classic show, which includes not only millions of bubbles, but also a laser light show that he describes as “The Matrix meets Star Wars”.
World Records Set by the Gazillion Bubble Show
The Yang family holds 19 bubble-related Guinness World records! Some of their most notable achievements include:
- “The Most People Encapsulated in a Bubble” – 181 people
- “The World’s Largest Bubble” – over 170 feet in length
- “The World’s Largest Land Mammal Encapsulated in a Bubble” – an elephant (!)
