Hitting the Theatres in Pigeon Forge
For a lot of travelers, part of the appeal of the Smoky Mountain Area is the opportunity to be entertained by professionals. And during the winter months, there’s a lot to be said for being inside a warm theater and seeing something you probably don’t have at home. While all three cities have theaters and shows, Pigeon Forge has a huge variety to choose from.
I know you’re thinking, “How many different shows
could there be? It’s just singing and dancing, with maybe dinner, right?” You
couldn’t be wronger (yea, I know, it’s not a word, but it just seemed to fit).
The list I’m about to give you has so many different types of shows on it, you
may do a double take. So here’s a sampling of what you can see:
Oldies music Country
music
Celebrity impersonators Horse riding
Murder mystery Lumberjack
Comedy Gospel
music
Religious Magic
There’s plenty of more, but I didn’t want to
overwhelm you. The good thing is these shows happen at a variety of times –
they aren’t all at night. You can attend a breakfast, lunch or dinner show. I
mean seriously, how cool would it be to return from vacation and tell your
friends you had dinners with Elvis, lumberjacks and also witnessed a murder? I
doubt there are many places you could say that with straight face. Check out
our Smoky Mountain
Attractions page and see if singing, dancing, magic, humor, animals or any
of the other themes inspire you to see the shows that the Smokies are putting
on!
