When you visit The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge, take some time to explore the Tower Shops! The Tower Shops are shaping up to be the next premier retail destination in the Smoky Mountains. The area has more than 150,000 square feet of retail space and will introduce plenty of new shopping opportunities in the Smokies! 1. Junction 35 Spirits

Junction 35 Spirits DistilleryJunction 35 Spirits recently opened at The Tower Shops in Pigeon Forge! This new distillery not only offers a retail and tasting area, but there is a full-service restaurant too. Visitors can enjoy an extensive menu and custom-made cocktails. Junction 35 has a train theme and was designed to pay homage to the working men of the railroad and the design of some of the most famous train stations, like Grand Central Station. You’ll find a variety of premium liquors when you visit, like Junction 35 Moonshine, Junction 35 Vodka, Junction 35 Run, Junction 35 Gin and Junction 35 Whiskey. 2. The Coffee Armory

The Coffee Armory is bringing its custom-roasted Black Rifle Coffee to Pigeon Forge! This veteran-owned coffee shop offers both Black Rifle Coffee Company coffee, but also merchandise. It’s perfect for those looking for a jolt of energy before enjoying everything else The Tower Shops and The Mountain Mile has to offer.

3. REI

Hiking boots and hiking backpack on a deckThe Tower Shops in Pigeon Forge is home to REI, a 21,500 square-foot store that focuses on outdoor gear, rentals, expertise and experiences. This shop serves as a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and offers workshops, classes and guided day trips to those who want to explore the park.

4. Mountain Mile General Store

The Mountain Mile General Store is your one-stop shop for souvenirs, apparel, gifts, home decor and so much more! This shop is expected to open soon, and you can find it ride behind the Mountain Monster ride. It’s the perfect place to find the best souvenirs to take back home to remind you of what a great time you had in the Smoky Mountains!

5. Cream & Sugar Sweet Shoppe

Your Guide to the Best Ice Cream Shops in the Smoky MountainsIf you’ve got a sweet tooth, you have to stop by the Cream & Sugar Sweet Shoppe at The Tower Shops when it opens! This shop will be opening soon in Pigeon Forge, bringing ice cream, treats and homemade sweets to The Mountain Mile complex. This shop will provide a vintage and upscale experience for visitors and will specialize in hand-scooped and rolled ice cream, milkshakes, and a large variety of handmade candy.

6. Appalachian Apparel Company

Appalachian Apparel Company is a clothing store that will carry designs and talent from throughout the region. Different makers will be introduced each month at this store. The unique designs will be able to highlight the talented artists of Appalachia. The store is based in an old mining town in Kentucky but has customers shopping online in 45 states and 7 countries! They will be opening at the Mountain Mile soon.

7. Cinnaholic

giant cinnamon roll with icingCinnaholic also is joining the Mountain Mile family soon! This bakery offers gourmet cinnamon rolls with more than 20 unique frosting flavors. You’ll also have your choice of toppings to add to the cinnamon rolls. A crowd favorite is the Cookie Dough Cheesecake Roll, which features cheesecake frosting topped with homemade chocolate chip cookie dough, graham cookies and chocolate sauce. We can’t wait to try one when the Pigeon Forge location opens!

8. BAAK Boutique

BAAK Boutique is coming soon to the Mountain Mile! At this cute little shop, you’ll find the best outfits and accessories. You’ll also find the latest fashion trends available for affordable prices.

9. The Lawn at The Tower Shops in Pigeon Forge


The Lawn at The Tower Shops in Pigeon Forge provides a comfortable outdoor space where visitors can sit back, relax, enjoy food, coffees and teas, and keep warm in front of the fire pit. It’s the perfect spot to take in gorgeous views of the Pigeon Forge area, enjoy the beautiful weather and snack on any sweet treats you’ve picked up at the shops! On select Fridays, visitors can enjoy a free movie on the lawn! Arrive around 7 p.m. for live music and to grab dinner from Junction 35, then take a seat in one of the inner tubes provided by River Rat Tubing! There are also corn hole and lawn toys!

About The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge

Mountain Monster in Pigeon ForgeThe Tower Shops are part of The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge, a retail, dining and family entertainment complex that spans 124 acres. At the center of The Mountain Mile, you’ll find The Mountain Monster, which features 3 thrill rides from a 200-foot-tall tower. The Mountain Monster ride drops 2 passengers from a 175-foot platform before swinging them out over the complex at 65 miles per hour. The Monster Fall takes riders to the top of the tower before dropping them without warning at speeds of up to 52 miles per hour. The third ride is the Monster Launch, which has riders sit back to back and slings them 140 feet up in the area. There’s also the option to add a flip at the top!
