Have you ever wanted to skydive, but weren’t real interested in going that far up in the sky? Well, in Pigeon Forge you can experience the sensation of flying without jumping out of a plane. Flyaway Indoor Skydiving is located at stoplight #5 in Pigeon Forge. It is the country’s first vertical wind tunnel, which allows you to body fly. Here’s how it works:
The first thing you do is spend 20 minutes in a training session, where you learn about body control and safety. Then you get your equipment and a group of up to five flyers enter the tunnel with an instructor. Each participant takes turns during a 15-minute session. There is an observation deck, so your friends can watch you.
You can also receive personalized coaching. Each session will be recorded, so you can watch yourself as you fly, making you better at future sessions. Think of it as a training course. If you want to get better at skydiving, what better way than to practice and watch yourself? Plus, you won’t have all the time and money invested in multiple jumps from a plane. In just a weekend, you can accomplish what would take weeks of normal training. And there are no rainouts!
Looking for a unique outing for your group or business? Tell them you are skydiving – the looks on their faces should be priceless. And it can be a great team-building exercise. Regardless of why you
try it, a trip to Flyaway Indoor Skydiving is sure to give you an experience you won’t soon forget.
