5 Pet-Friendly Attractions in the Smoky Mountains to Visit With Your Pup

While it is up to individual businesses whether or not to allow pets inside, it is still a great place to go to enjoy the beautiful weather in the Smokies. 3. Patriot Park

Along the way, you will pass by the flags of all 50 states as well as several memorials to the veterans of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. You can also take in the beautiful view of the Little Pigeon River and there is a gazebo that can be used for special events such as family reunions and birthday parties.

4. Mad Dog’s Creamery

Everyone in your group will love a sweet treat from Mad Dog’s Creamery, including your pup! For the doggies in your life, this ice cream shop has doggie treats and toys. There are also convenient picnic tables and water bowls outside where your entire family can enjoy your refreshing treat. For humans, the opportunities are endless at Mad Dog’s Creamery. They have 24 amazing flavors of ice cream to go along with milkshakes, donuts, funnel cakes, and so much more to satisfy your sweet tooth.

5. The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum

As you can probably guess by the name, this wonderful attraction is home to over 20,000 sets of shakers! The museum is also pet-friendly, and they have welcomed dogs, cats, birds, and even iguanas to view the collection over the years. This is also one of the most affordable things to do in the Smoky Mountains, with admission prices at just $3 per adult that can also be used toward any souvenir from the gift shop.
