Your family is counting on seeing a bear during your Smoky Mountain vacation, but spotting a black bear in the national park isn’t the easiest task. Sometimes visitors get lucky and see the bears out and about, while most of the time, the bears are hiding away. Don’t worry, though, Three Bears General Store can save you from spending all of your time waiting around for the bears to show up in the mountains!

Three Bears General Store is the only Pigeon Forge shop where you can see and feed bears throughout the day, at your convenience! Open from 10 a.m. until dusk, the bear habitat at Three Bears General Store is a great way to spend a little time enjoying the black bears without having to hike through the mountains.

Admission to the bear habitat is only $3.25 per person and children under age 2 are free! If you choose to feed the black bears, food costs $1.25 and is safely given to the bears through chutes. You won’t have to worry about your kids when they’re enjoying the bear habitat area! The bears can be seen at any time during the day, but there are special feeding hours. Feeding hours are as follows: 10 a.m.-noon, 3-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Make sure you stop at the Pigeon Forge shop during feeding hours to visit the bears and feed them a snack!
