The idea for The Wild Plum came from the tea houses in the mountains of Austria, where people gather daily and dine on whatever was made fresh that day. It’s a place where visitors can relax, take in the Smoky Mountain area and eat good food. The menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and specialties. It changes often, so you never know what you’ll get to enjoy at The Wild Plum! The restaurant is famous for their chicken salad, wild plum tea, sandwiches and wild plum muffins.

This restaurant is located at 555 Buckhorn Road in Gatlinburg.

2. Crystelle Creek

Crystelle Creek offers something for everyone. What makes it so special is that it provides visitors with the finest dining and entertainment, all at an affordable price. Enjoy a romantic dinner for two in the quiet indoor dining area, or have a casual meal on their covered sports porch that’s perfect for families and friends. The porch is also dog friendly and makes this spot one of the few pet-friendly restaurants in Gatlinburg! The menu includes everything from seafood, to ribs, to signature Italian dishes. It is known to have some of the best trout dishes and smoked ribs in Gatlinburg! Outside of the restaurant, there’s a creek, a koi pond, water cascading from the roof over large windows, and a 150-foot lighted tree that makes for a beautiful sight at night.

4. Crockett’s Breakfast Camp

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp is set in a rustic cabin atmosphere and offers modern takes on classic Southern breakfast dishes. Outside the restaurant, you’ll see a wooden statue of David C. “Crockett” Maples. He was an original frontiersman, an honored soldier and a devoted family man with an inspirational story. The restaurant was made in his honor and is known for serving the best home-cooked breakfast in the Smoky Mountains! Part of what makes Crockett’s so unique is their Griddle Cakes. These aren’t your typical pancakes — they’re extra thick and fluffy! You’ll also find waffles, French toast, omelets, fried cinnamon rolls and more on the menu.

It’s Sevierville’s oldest restaurant and has been serving guests delicious food since 1986!
