2. Crockett’s Breakfast Camp
If you wake up with quite the appetite, dine at Crockett’s Breakfast Camp! Not only does this restaurant have huge portion sizes, but it has delicious food as well. The rustic, cabin-themed eatery offers a modern take on your favorite, classic Southern breakfast dishes. The menu includes things like griddle cakes, scramblers, french toast, and more. One of the most popular items on the menu is the Postmasters Favorite, which is chicken fried steak, homestyle sausage gravy, and 2 farm fresh eggs.
3. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen
Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is located in Sevierville and is one of the newest places to dine in the Smokies! This restaurant believes in a well-rounded breakfast to start the day. The portions are so huge that 2 can share a plate! You can enjoy something sweet like Blanche’s Thick “Ring Baked” Griddle Cakes that come with sweet cream butter and warm maple syrup, or go for something from the Harvest Morning Bounty section of the menu. Try The Back 40, which is a pan fried pork tenderloin covered in sausage gravy.
4. Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant
For some homemade apple fritters and fresh apple julep, head to the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant! Located in the heart of Sevierville, this restaurant has a beautiful farm setting, combining gorgeous scenery with delicious food. Dip your warm apple fritter in apple butter as you browse the menu searching for the perfect first meal of the day. There is everything from Pa’s Old Fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes to the Country Boy Breakfast Skillet! Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin is one of the best places to go, and with locations in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, you can easily find one close to you! The menu includes everything from Elkmont Egg Platters to Campfire Skillets — and of course pancakes!
6. Atrium Pancakes
Atrium Pancakes is a place that both locals and visitors have come to love. Located in Gatlinburg, this pancake house is known for its Baked Apple Pancake. The Baked Apple Pancake is stuffed with warm apples, then cooked until golden brown and served with plenty of butter and syrup. In addition to this specialty pancake, Atrium Pancakes has 24 other types of flapjacks. You can also order country ham, Belgian waffles, or eggs!
7. Sawyer’s Farmhouse Restaurant
Sawyer’s Farmhouse Restaurant has become a favorite in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This breakfast restaurant serves everything from hearty breakfast platters to made-from-scratch pancakes. They use freshly whipped butter that melts easily over their waffles, and warm homemade syrups that cover their pancakes. If you’re feeling really hungry, order Sawyer’s Special Breakfast – The Forge, which includes 2 eggs cooked to your liking, home fried potatoes, gravy & biscuit, and your choice of smoked bacon, sausage, country ham, or sugar cured ham.
8. Donut Friar
To start your morning on a sweet note, head to the Donut Friar! Order a warm cup of coffee made to your liking and choose from a variety of tasty donuts. The Donut Friar is located in The Village Shops in Gatlinburg and is known for having the best treats in town! It has everything from chocolate glazed donuts, to danishes, to cinnamon twists. The smells of freshly made donuts and cinnamon bread that drift from the shop are impossible to resist!
