Stringtime in the Smokies to Bring Excitement Galore at Old Mill Square

The Old Mill in Pigeon ForgeLooking for an exciting way to close out the summer? Swing by the Old Mill Square on Aug. 3 for a fun-filled day of music, food and memories at the Stringtime in the Smokies event.

In partnership with WDVX 89.9, a local Knoxville radio station, the Stringtime in the Smokies will showcase the talent of a variety of musical artists including Robinella, Richard Bennett and Wyatt Rice, and the Grassroots Gringos.

Robinella is a well-known local favorite. With over a decade of musical experience under her belt, lead singer Robin Ella Bailey recently released her most recent album titled “Ode To Love.”

Admission to Stringtime in the Smokies is free for all ages. Organizers encourage visitors to remember to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on while you enjoy the music!

Part of the Stringtime in the Smokies event, Old Mill Square will also host the fourth annual Smoky Mountain Cornhole Tournament. Registration for the tournament is $60 per competitive team and $40 per amateur team, now through August 1. The tournament kicks off at 11 a.m. on August 3, and organizers request that teams be ready by 10:30 a.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers.

Be sure to come hungry to the Stringtime in the Smokies event! Along with good music and fun activities, the The Old Mill Square also offers two delicious restaurants for visitors to curb their appetites. The Old Mill Restaurant and The Old Mill Pottery House and Cafe offer up great-tasting southern-style menu items everyone in your family will enjoy.

The Old Mill Square is located at 175 Old Mill Avenue at Traffic Light #7 in Pigeon Forge.
