It’s no surprise that Great Pumpkin LumiNights won the 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Theme Park Halloween Event! This event is part of Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, during which thousands of carved pumpkins glow throughout the theme park. Great Pumpkin LumiNights won the top spot thanks to your votes! The festival beat out Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando and Halloween Haunt at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio.
About Great Pumpkin LumiNights
During Great Pumpkin LumiNights, thousands of jack-o-lanterns light up Dollywood. This event is the largest addition ever made to Dollywood’s Harvest Festival. It takes place in Timber Canyon and features tons of fun for the whole family. The 2018 Great Pumpkin LumiNights doubled in size with more than twice the glow, and this year’s event will be just as great! Some of the activities you can expect at Great Pumpkin LumiNights include a meet and greet with all your pumpkin patch friends, watching master carvers carve intricate designs, and face painting.
