It’s Car Show Time in Tennessee
Capturing both Dollywood’s Splash Country and the Pigeon Forge Parkway, September marks car show time in East Tennessee!
The month kicks off with the ever popular Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup September 5-7 inside Dollywood’s Splash Country. Here guests will get an up close viewing of all their favorite classic rides from yesteryear. Admission to Shades of the Past is $10, with an additional $10 for parking.
Following up Dollywood’s Splash Country’s show is the Grand Rod Run. Located at Traffic Light #6, this year’s fall Pigeon Forge Rod Run will be held September 12-15. Celebrating 31 years, the largest car event in Pigeon Forge promises guests a wide variety of classic model cars, custom paint jobs, exciting entertainment and more.
Have your own classic car you want to show off? The 2013 Pigeon Forge Rod Run is still accepting registration forms where guests have the chance to win up to $10,000 in prizes. To enter your ride, simply print out the registration form on the Pigeon Forge event’s website, fill it out and mail it to MCS Promotions, P.O. Box 5162, Knoxville, TN. Entries are also accepted over the phone by calling (865) 687-3976.
