Every year, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies hosts a New Year’s Eve event, perfect for the entire family. Starting December 31 at 9 p.m., families can gather together to dance and eat while exploring the aquarium. So, join us while we ‘Dance with the Sharks’ this new year!
1. Aquarium Exploration
The event in Gatlinburg at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies guarantees families an adventure from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. As families count down the hours to midnight, they can explore the aquarium, surrounded by aquatic creatures, from sharks and turtles to piranhas and jellyfish.
2. New Year’s Eve Countdown
Kids love counting down to the new year, so the aquarium helps keep the kids occupied throughout the evening. When the clock strikes midnight, there’s going to be a huge fireworks show in Gatlinburg that can be seen from the aquarium.
3. Delicious Snacks
When the evening rolls around, kids will be ready for some tasty midnight snacks. Don’t worry, at Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, they’ve got you covered! There will be a variety of heavy appetizers available at the event, including a carving station, stuffed mushrooms, fruits, cheeses and delectable desserts.
How much does the event in Gatlinburg cost?
The event costs $149.99 per couple, $79.99 for a single and $25.99 for children ages 3-17. Tax is not included in those prices. A souvenir photo will be provided for couples or families at the event, too. For adults, the price includes a champagne toast at midnight.
