5 Reasons You Will Love MagiQuest Pigeon Forge
The Visit My Smokies team recently paid a visit to MagiQuest Pigeon Forge, and our experience was, well, magical! Housed in the giant medieval castle on the Parkway, MagiQuest is a totally unique destination that truly has something for everyone. Here are just five reasons you need to visit MagiQuest on your next vacation in Pigeon Forge:
1. MagiQuest is Home to Four Awesome Attractions
Visitors to the MagiQuest castle will have the chance to enjoy four different attractions:
- The MagiQuest role playing adventure
- Odyssey Mirror Maze
- Special FX Pirate Golf
- The Vault Laser Challenge
For a look at each of the attractions, watch this video of Visit My Smokies’ trip to MagiQuest:
What is great about the MagiQuest Pigeon Forge location is guests only pay for the attractions they’re interest in. Whether you want to come in for a quick game of mini golf, or you want to spend the whole day exploring the castle, the choice is yours!
Of course, MagiQuest offers a number of combo packages that make visiting all four attractions a great deal. The bundled packages come with four separate tickets, so you can visit the various attractions on different days. To save $1 on your preferred MagiQuest package, click the square below:
2. You’ll Feel Like a Real Wizard
When you play the signature MagiQuest game, you will feel like a real wizard, or “magi” as they are called here. Everyone at MagiQuest gets their very own magic wand, which is equipped with infrared technology. Virtually every object at the castle is interactive, so you can use your wand to unlock doors, open chests, and cast spells on characters.
The MagiQuest adventure is like a live action video game where you complete tasks, collect runes, and build your magical power. Players receive an “Ancient Book of Wisdom” that is filled with riddles, hints, and other information you need for your quests. As you make your way through the castle, you will meet pixies and princesses, fight goblins and dragons, and solve a variety of mind bending puzzles and challenges. If your kids love Harry Potter or other fantasy books, they will love MagiQuest Pigeon Forge!
3. You Can Save Your Progress in the Game
Another great feature at MagiQuest is the ability to save your progress in the game. Every player fills out a “scribe form” to create an account with MagiQuest. As you complete quests, your wand sends this data to your account. This way, you can return to MagiQuest and pick up right where you left off, so you never have to repeat a mission you already completed. Your account at MagiQuest never expires, so you could complete three quests during your summer vacation and then return a year later to complete three more!
4. Odyssey is the Largest Mirror Maze in the World
The MagiQuest castle is home to the largest mirror maze on earth! Odyssey Mirror Maze is 5,000 square feet, which makes it twice as large as the world’s second largest mirror maze. Filled with twists and turns, this disorienting maze will have guests scratching their heads and working together to make their way to the exit. MagiQuest provides visitors to Odyssey with special plastic gloves, so you can reach out and touch the mirrors to feel your way around without leaving a smudge.
5. Perfect for a Rainy Day
All of the attractions at MagiQuest Pigeon Forge are indoors, making them ideal for a rainy day during your vacation. As one of the few indoor putt putt courses in the area, Pirate Golf is especially popular when the weather isn’t at its best. This blacklight course offers 18 Carribean-themed holes, and everything is glow in the dark!
Kids also can’t get enough of The Vault, the castle’s Mission Impossible-style laser challenge. It takes some serious agility to reach the end of the room without breaking the beams! No matter which attractions you choose, MagiQuest offers hours of fun that you can enjoy rain or shine.
