Dollywood Named One of the Best “Theme Parks for Little Tykes”
The Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, TN may be most famous for its exhilarating roller coasters and thrill rides, but there is still plenty to do for young kids! The Family Vacation Critic website recently praised Dollywood as “good for little tykes” in its list of Electrifying Amusement Parks for 2017.
In their write-up for the park, the Family Vacation Critic noted that Dollywood is home to over a dozen rides that can be enjoyed by children who are under 3 feet tall. Dollywood also features numerous family-friendly shows that are great for the whole clan. Parents who are visiting with babies can take advantage of the park’s nursing stations, changing stations, baby care centers, bottle warmers, and strollers. The Family Vacation Critic also appreciated Dollywood’s “parent swap” policy, which allows one parent to take over a spot in line that was being held by another parent.
To help you prepare for your next vacation, Visit My Smokies has put together a guide to some of the best rides and shows at Dollywood for little children.
