Take me out to a ball game! One of the best things to do during spring in the Smoky Mountains is go to a Tennessee Smokies baseball game. It’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather and feel like a local as you cheer on the team! Get ready to head to the ballpark because baseball season in the Smoky Mountains is almost here. Here’s all you need to know before you go to a Smokies baseball game:

Where It’s At

The Smokies Stadium is located in Kodak, TN, just a short drive from Sevierville. If you’re coming from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, all you have to do is hop on HWY 66, and you’ll run into the stadium on your right! It’s a quick and easy drive for an afternoon filled with fun and baseball.

About the Team

It is a Double-A affiliate of 2016 World Series Champions, the Chicago Cubs. Many notable Cubs players were on the Smokies before they moved up to the Major League, such as Kris Bryant, Carl Edwards Jr. and Kyle Hendricks, who all had a hand in the World Series win.
