Alcatraz East Crime Museum Opens New Temporary Exhibit: Nicole Brown Simpson

Starting May 17, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Pigeon Forge opened a new temporary exhibit! The exhibit is a memorial for Nicole Brown Simpson, former wife of O.J. Simpson. We’ve got all the details on what to expect at the temporary exhibit and the Alcatraz East Crime Museum.

Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Pigeon ForgeOn May 19, 2019, Nicole Brown Simpson would have celebrated her 60th birthday. In her memory, the Alcatraz East Crime Museum decided to open a temporary exhibit that will be open for three months. The museum wanted to turn the focus back on Nicole’s story and “celebrate the special person she was to so many,” according to their press release. Below is a list of artifacts that belonged to Nicole that visitors can find in the exhibit:

  • A place setting of her china
  • Favorite pieces of clothing and Chanel jewelry
  • A handwritten poem that was read at her funeral by her sister
  • Photos from the Brown family dating back to her childhood
  • Original song and music video, “I Remember Nicole,” by two-time Emmy Award winner Renee Sotile and Mary Jo Godges

The Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Pigeon Forge is also home to O.J. Simpson’s White Ford Bronco from the famous televised car chase.

Counterfeit Crimes & Pop Culture: In this gallery, you’ll learn all about counterfeit crimes, including medication and electronics that can affect health and safety. It also features famous crimes that involve entertainment figures and sports stars.
