Craft Beer Festival Returns to Sevierville This Fall

Beer enthusiasts will definitely want to schedule a trip to Sevierville, TN this fall! In October, our Smoky Mountain city will host the annual Bruce Street Brewfest, a popular fundraising event that features craft beer from around East Tennessee. To help you make the most of your next vacation, Visit My Smokies has put together a guide to everything you need to know about the Sevierville beer festival.

When and Where

The Bruce Street Brewfest will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 1 – 6 p.m. As you may have guessed by the festival’s name, the fun will be held at 128 Bruce Street in downtown Sevierville. Part of the street will be closed off for the event, so attendees will have plenty of room for drinking, dining, and dancing.

The Bruce Street Brewfest will showcase beers from over 40 craft breweries and homebrewers in the Smoky Mountain area. Participants in this year’s festival include Cold Fusion Brewing, Studio Brewing Company, Gatlinburg Brewing Company, and South Cider.

Downtown Sevierville will have the atmosphere of a beer garden as guests sample the impressive variety of local brews. There will be 4 oz. tastings of each beer and everyone will receive a special souvenir glass. The festival will also feature excellent food trucks and awesome live entertainment from some of the best musicians in the Smokies.

As you enjoy the beer, be sure to keep track of which brews you liked the most, because there will be a People’s Choice Competition that attendees can vote in. Brewers can also submit their beers to compete in an official Judged Competition. If you are a homebrewer who would like to enter a beer in the festival, visit the official Smoky Mountain Homebrewers Association website.

Tickets for the Bruce Street Brewfest

Tickets for the Brewfest are $30 per person and include beer and entertainment (but not food). To purchase your passes, visit beerheads.org. All attendees must be at least 21 years old.

Proceeds from the Bruce Street Brewfest will benefit local charities. In the festival’s inaugural year, around 400 people attended the event and an even bigger turnout is anticipated for 2017. We recommend reserving your tickets as early as possible because the Brewfest is expected to sell out.
