Pigeon Forge Celebrates Veteran’s Appreciation For America’s Vietnam Veterans
Nestled in the midst of the majestic Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, TN is a beautiful small town that takes pride in honoring American veterans. Remembering and honoring the people who have fought in wars to protect our freedom and to help others is an important task to people who do not want veterans who participated in such wars as Vietnam to go unnoticed as time goes by.
Pigeon Forge has a Veteran’s Appreciation Event for America’s Vietnam Veterans that pays honor and remembrance to the many military members who sacrificed and served in the Vietnam War. The event is actually a compilation of tributes that spans over a period of several different days.
April 15th-April 18th, Welcome Home Vietnam – Pigeon Forge, TN and the Theaters of the Smokies produce a star-studded, magnificent live entertainment event that is open to everyone.
Legendary music artists, down home cooking, and a charming environment are all part of the offerings provided during the Welcome Home Vietnam event. This event is hosted by Pigeon Forge and the Theaters of the Smokies to pay a humbling tribute to the service and sacrifice of American Vietnam veterans. Tennessee culture, live music, friendly people and a chance to mingle with some of the bravest people in America’s history will be just a few of the amazing things to experience for anyone who wants to show up and be a part of this spectacular event for veterans.
April 15th, Welcome Home Vietnam – Dixie Stampede presents live music and true Tennessee entertainment that is fun-filled and brimming with action entertainment.
April 16th, Welcome Home Vietnam Parade. This event is held at the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Like all of the other events, this is truly a family friendly event that will pay an excellent tribute to the American Veterans of the Vietnam War.
April 17th, Veterans’ Wives Breakfast. If you are a Veteran’s wife, you do not want to miss out on this endearing event that specifically honors the many wives who endured their husbands being gone in active duty in the Vietnam War. The stunning Titanic Museum Pigeon Forge Attraction hosts this breakfast for the wives of Vietnam veterans.
April 18th, Veterans’ Appreciation Day. Once again, the Titanic Museum Attraction opens its doors to honor Vietnam Veterans and their sacrifice and service for the country. Free admission is provided for veterans and everyone else is encouraged to attend and support our heroes.
