Nearly 200 Artists Expected for Gatlinburg Fair

Pencils, brushes, and watercolor for arts and craftsThis October, the streets of Gatlinburg become a little more “crafty” as artists from all over the United States come to the area to showcase their handmade crafts at the  Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair.

There will be no shortage of talent at this Gatlinburg Fair. Woodworkers, glass blowers, candy makers, quilters, painters and doll makers are just a sample of talent from the nearly 200 artists expected to attend.

There’s a reason this Gatlinburg fair has been voted one of the South’s “Most Popular Events” for the past six years. In addition to the handmade collectibles, guests to the fair will experience the musical stylings of very talented country, gospel, and bluegrass artists.

The Fall Craftsmen’s Fair is Located at the Gatlinburg Convention Center at 234 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg, TN. Hours will run 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and until 5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $7 for adults, and free for children 12-years-old and younger.

Not planning on visiting the Smoky Mountains until the summer? The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair has you covered. The summer portion of this Gatlinburg fair is planned for July with the same times and location.

Any artists interested in showcasing their work at either event are encouraged to visit the official website for the Gatlinburg fair to fill out an exhibitor application. Organizers will accept applications until the artist roster is full.
