Of course, Mel’s Diner is at the top of our list! This diner is a popular family-owned and operated restaurant in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Not only is it budget friendly, but it offers visitors meals that taste just like they’d make at home in a classic diner atmosphere. This 50’s style diner has all your favorite diner meals, from hearty breakfast plates to juicy burgers. Whether you want breakfast at night or a milkshake for breakfast, you can have it your way at Mel’s Diner. Start off with some nachos or cheese fries before diving into a cheeseburger, chicken and dumplings, or a jumbo grilled cheese. Be sure to save room for one of their legendary banana splits for dessert!

Mel’s Diner is located in the heart of Pigeon Forge at 119 Wears Valley Road. It’s right off the Parkway and just minutes from Dollywood and Gatlinburg.

2. Sunliner Diner

The diner has a beautiful chrome exterior, classic cars, and an interior to match. If you’re looking for a spot that’s more upscale than your typical diner, this is the place for you. When you visit, enjoy some of the best breakfast in the Smokies all day long, with options like eggs benedict, avocado toast, omelets, country fried steak and eggs, and so much more. We recommend their Dream Boat Waffles, which includes 3 waffles, bacon, sausage, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream, all topped with chocolate chips and chopped bacon! For lunch or dinner, enjoy one of their famous burgers, meatloaf, or chicken and waffles. For dessert, there are made-from-scratch cakes and pies, splits and sundaes, and milkshakes. They even have a cocktail menu as well!

Sunliner Diner is located right on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at 2302 Parkway.

3. Bob’s Burgers at the 50’s Style Diner

We like to consider Bob’s Burgers at the 50’s Style Diner one of our favorite hidden gems. Located inside the Antique Mall on Wears Valley Road, you’re sure to miss it if you’re not looking for it. Bob’s Burgers serves up delicious diner food in a casual atmosphere. Grab a seat on a stool at the counter and order a burger and fries, then watch as it’s made right in front of you! You’ll find burgers, fries, hot dogs, floats, and sundaes on the menu. If you’re looking for a spot the locals love, then Bob’s Burgers is the place to go!

Bob’s Burgers at the 50’s Diner is located in the antique mall at 1386 Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge. It’s right across from Goats on the Roof!
