The Smoky Mountains are constantly welcoming new businesses to the area, including new restaurants! We know that trying new places to eat is one of the best parts of vacation, and you won’t want to miss the chance to dine at some of the best restaurants in the area. To help you learn more about where you should eat on your visit to the Smokies, we’ve made a list of 6 new Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg restaurants you have to try:

1. Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant

It’s famous for its Meat & 3 Specials, which include your choice of meat and up to 3 sides. You can also enjoy salads, sandwiches, and their famous slow-smoked BBQ! Pigeon Forge marks the sixth Puckett’s location. You can find it at 2480 Parkway, right next door to the Incredible Christmas Place.

2. The Local Attraction Gastropub

At The Local Attraction Gastropub, everyone will feel like a local! This Gatlinburg restaurant has a full menu for lunch and dinner, as well as a fully stocked bar. When the weather’s nice, grab a seat outside to enjoy your meal! On Friday and Saturday nights, you’ll even have the chance to listen to live music. Start your meal off with beer battered cheese curds before diving into a slice of pizza or one of their juicy burgers! Along with your meal, you can sip one of their specialty cocktails before trying the Nutter Butter Banana Pudding for dessert!

3. Gatlinburg Brewing Company

Gatlinburg Brewing Companywhole pepperoni pizza is a locally owned brewery in Gatlinburg, but they also serve delicious pizzas, breadsticks, cheesesticks, salads, and more. The owner took his passion for craft beer and spent years learning and brewing before opening his own brewery in Gatlinburg. Along with the craft beer, you can enjoy cutting-edge craft pizza. The restaurant allows you to build your own 10” pizza, all the way from the crust, to the sauce, to the toppings! You can also choose one of their specialty pizzas, like their Hangover Helper or Philly Philly. You can’t go wrong with pizza and beer from the Gatlinburg Brewing Company!

4. Dulce Nitrogen

Dulce Nitrogen just recently opened in Pigeon, offering liquid nitrogen ice cream and bubble tea to visitors. Their special NitroCream is made right before your eyes and is customized into the perfect frozen treat. You can choose the base of your ice cream, any mix-ins you want, then up to 3 toppings! You’ll also get to choose whether you want your ice cream in a cup, on a brownie, in a waffle cone or bowl, or in one of their famous bubble waffles! Bubble waffles are made from a sweet and eggy batter and have spherical puffs throughout them. It’s the perfect place to stop when you’re craving something sweet!

5. Chesapeake’s

This seafood restaurant serves everything from live Maine lobster and fresh oysters to filet mignon. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you can enjoy it fresh at Chesapeake’s! Chesapeake’s is part of the Copper Cellar family of restaurants, which includes some popular Gatlinburg restaurants like Calhoun’s and Cherokee Grill.

6. Sunliner Diner

If you’re looking for a restaurant that takes you back, you’ll love visiting the Sunliner Diner! This 50s-themed restaurant already has a location in Gulf Shores, AL, and is now open in Pigeon Forge. It is set with a chrome exterior, classic cars, and a vintage retail shop. Breakfast is served all day, and the lunch and dinner menu is available starting at 11 a.m.. You can also try one of their banana splits or sundaes for dessert, or top your meal off with one of their specialty cocktails!
