About The Mountain Monster in Pigeon Forge
The Mountain Monster in Pigeon Forge is now open! This new 190-foot-tall attraction offers 3 different thrill rides. Not only will you have a blast on all of the rides, but you’ll be able to enjoy incredible views as well from high above ground. The attraction is open daily from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tickets start at $15. If you’re looking for a thrill, you definitely need to visit The Mountain Monster! Also open at The Mountain Mile is The Lawn at the Tower Shops! You can enjoy the beautifully landscaped lawn, gorgeous views, and more. During the upcoming weeks and months, the complex will be opening up stores and restaurants one by one, so get excited for plenty of new opportunities for entertainment!
The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge
The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge is taking over the former Belz Factory Outlet Mall. According to their Facebook page, the owners want to show how an obsolete interior mall can be repurposed as a vibrant retail and entertainment district. The Mountain Mile will provide plenty of opportunities for visitors to have fun, shop, dine, and relax. It will be home to the first restaurant/distillery/craft cocktail bar in Tennessee, Junction 35, Currahee Vineyards, and so much more.
This 174+ acre complex has over 1 mile of road frontage and is located along Teaster Lane and Jake Thomas Blvd. It’s surrounded by the Cal Ripken Experience and The Island. Flying Theater Ride at The Island:
A new ride is opening at The Island! In 2020, The Island will become home to a world-class flying theater experience. The attraction combines a state-of-the-art ride system with a custom film that features natural wonders and iconic landmarks. Riders will feel just like they’re taking an aerial adventure across the country, complete with movements, sounds, and scents!
The Flyer at Rowdy Bear Ridge:
Rowdy Bear Ridge has already introduced a year-round outdoor mountain tubing adventure to Pigeon Forge, but coming soon it will offer another attraction to enjoy. The Flyer is a new aerial twin seat coaster that’s the first of its kind in the country! Guests will swing through the air while getting to take in the spectacular scenery in Pigeon Forge. The Flyer is expected to open in fall of 2019.
August Moon Drive-In:
Pigeon Forge’s first indoor drive-in movie theater is set to open in spring of 2020! August Moon Drive-In will feature 40 classic cars, delicious food and drink options, and the largest non-IMAX movie screen in North America. The indoor setting will make you feel like you’re outside, with 50 full-size trees, a half-acre of grass and gravel pathways, a starry sky, fireflies, and more. There will also be a 360-degree lighted backdrop that creates the effect of a sunset before each showing.
