The Scenic Chairlift at Ober Mountain is the longest chair lift of its kind in the entire United States! Patrons are taken to the peak of Mt. Harrison at 3,455 feet above sea level, registering 1,650 feet higher than any other chair lifts in Gatlinburg. This ride clocks in at 3,019 feet in length, rising 779 feet in elevation along the way. Soak up views of the marvelous Mt. Leconte and, on clear days, you’ll be able to see out as far as Douglas Lake!

2. SkyLift at Gatlinburg SkyPark

This first-of-its-kind ranch offers unblemished views of the Smokies, exciting rides, live entertainment, miniature animals, shops, eateries and more. To reach SkyLand Ranch, you can ride the Horizon SkyRide, a 3-person, open-air chairlift. The Wild Stallion at SkyLand Ranch is the longest mountain coaster in the Southeast, taking guests on a 1.25-mile journey as part of an 8+ minute ride!

4. Anakeesta Chondolas

To get there, you’ll gain 600 feet in elevation as you admire aerial views of Gatlinburg and natural habitats that house an array of wildlife. Choose to hop aboard Anakeesta’s open-air 4-person chairlift featuring a safety bar to take in these views as the wind blows through your hair. If you’re more comfortable riding in an enclosed space, you can choose to ride Anakeesta’s gondolas which feature room for 6 people.

5. The Hawk SkyLift at Harper Bros. Mountain

Venture out to the secluded and stunning Wears Valley for views that warm the heart! The Hawk SkyLift at Harper Bros. Mountain takes adventurers to new heights where the views await! This roundtrip ride is 2,800 feet long and lasts for at least 30 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to soak it all up. Relax in a rocker or swing once you reach the top of Harper Bros. Mountain. This attraction is closed during winter.
