Bears, Turkeys, and Deer OH MY!

Location Details: Sevierville

Bedrooms: 2 Bathrooms: 2 Sleeps: 6

Previously known as “Fireside Memories”, this cabin still has all the wonderful things so many have fallen in love with, from the gorgeous stone, wood burning fireplace, 4 flat screen tv’s, a pool table, heart shaped jacuzzi tub, outdoor hot tub, to a wraparound porch with 2 added rocking chairs, and a picnic table with benches, just to name the highlights.
Now called “Bears, Turkeys, and Deer, Oh My!” an “experience” element has been added, along with a twin over full bunk bed. Great memories are made from great experiences shared. What better way to share great experiences together, than with some of the most popular animals in the Smokies, bears, turkeys, and deer! Oh my! Just imagine coming to a cabin that has games and activities for all ages, centered on these 3 popular animals. From a giant game of “bears, turkeys, and deer” memory game, that will cover the basement floor, to matching different Smoky Mountain animal pictures to their prints, to helping get your hiker to the top of Mt. LeConte, the fastest, while avoiding some mountain challenges, to more games that will continue to be added….a great time is sure to be had for all ages.
The layout is almost the same, with the gorgeous, wood burning stone fireplace catching your eye as you enter. The living area also has a 50-inch flat screen TV with Charter cable service that includes WIFI, and a DVD player. An enclosed bedroom with a king-sized bed, including a flat screen TV, and full bathroom is on this level. This level also has a porch that wraps half way around the house with a hot tub, 2 rocking chairs, and a picnic table with benches.
The top level of the cabin is an open loft with a catwalk to the upstairs balcony where there is an awesome mountain view and comfortable places to sit and drink your morning coffee. The loft has a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and a half bathroom. There is also a heart shaped Jacuzzi tub.
The lowest level of the cabin contains another flat screen TV, with a DVD player, a pool table, a card table, a new twin size bunk bed, over a new full-size bed, and a futon for additional sleeping. There is also a half bathroom with a washer and dryer on this level.
After you get settled, but before you lay down on mattresses and all pillows covered with allergy friendly encasement’s. We encourage you to take a look, at our notebook we will be adding to, that will give you tips and helpful hints, from the owners about trails, finding animals, and ways to get around the park, along with much more! Besides a driveway that will take you right to the front steps, there’s also plenty of extra parking on the cul de sac in front of the cabin. So, whether you are looking for peace and quiet with a great view, or you are packing up the family, and would love to have things for them to do while at the cabin, welcome to what we like to refer to as paradise. We want you to have great memories from great experiences shared at “Bears, Turkeys, and Deer…. Oh my!”
Low Cost Kid Bag Add-Ons
As part of our “experience” element, we are offering kid’s animal bags, for below cost.  You can choose the bear, deer, or turkey bag.  All three bags come with a handmade mask with your animal choice, canteen or water jug (unfortunately, it may change depending on what owner was able to find available for purchase), a handful of coloring pages of your animal, markers, & a 64-page Great Smoky Mountain Activity Book.  All of this comes in a drawstring bag, with the bear being in a white bag, deer is in blue, and turkey is in green.  Owner is offering these for $11.50, each, which is slightly below the cost of them, to make them affordable for families who would like them.   When you book, let Heritage Cabins know if you would like to add these on, which ones, and how many.  They will be sitting out for you when you arrive!
For Guests visiting in September, October, or first half of November
For the months of September, October, and first 2 full weeks of November, you can choose to add a “Thankful Pumpkin”.  These range vastly in price and supply, but owner is going to use coupons and try to find you one of 2 options for $10.  You can choose to add on a medium to large pumpkin that is big enough for your family and/or friends to write your names, the year, and things you are thankful for this past year.  The other choice would be 3 small pumpkins, that each of you could write on yourself, with a sharpie marker provided.  You can take home your pumpkin, and maybe add one each year, so you have a whole pumpkin patch!
For Guests visiting in second half of November and all of December
For the last half of November through the entire month of December, you can choose, cost free, to add on 2 ornaments.  You DO need to request these at time of booking.  If you would like more, you can add them on at $5 each, but owner will cover one for your family and one for the cabin tree.  You will be able to paint (most likely a wood ornament, but again, depends on supply) and write your family name, or the names of all who are with you, and the year, and place it on the tree.  Every year we encourage you to come back and see your ornament, and make another new one!  We hope to provide, at or below cost, an “experience” element that will carry forever memories for you and your loved ones!
