The Pigeon Forge Parkway recently got a little more ‘Xtreme’ with the opening of Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge. The new Pigeon Forge go kart attraction features two exciting courses with carts reaching a top speed of 30-40 miles per hour on average. To help celebrate the grand opening of the new Pigeon Forge go kart track, celebrity NASCAR driver Trevor Bayne will be making a special appearance on Wednesday, September 25 from noon- 2 p.m.

Before making the switch to professional car racing, Knoxville-native Trevor Bayne got his start racing go karts at the age of five. After securing three World Championship titles, Bayne has gone on to become the youngest winner of the Daytona 500 in 2011.
