Dozens of Horses Escape from Pigeon Forge Horseback Riding Stables (Video Included!)
On Friday morning, locals and visitors experienced a different kind of traffic on their morning route along the Pigeon Forge Parkway.
Around 7:30 a.m., approximately 20-30 horses escaped from Five Oaks Horseback Riding Stables in Pigeon Forge, across from the area’s largest outlet mall. They were seen running down the Parkway, causing quite a bit of traffic.
Officers with the Sevierville Police Department and Pigeon Forge Police Department were immediately in route to assist.
Traffic update, Parkway between Five Oaks Mall and Pigeon Forge city limits we have about 20 horses running loose.

The Pigeon Forge Parkway was shut down for a short time, but all of the horses were returned to the stables within an hour.
There is no information regarding how the horses escaped from the stables.
