Origami Exhibit at WonderWorks

origami cranesThe new origami exhibit at WonderWorks is both entertaining and educational! It provides science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities. This STEM exhibit is designed to show people how math is related to the art of origami. Origami involves folding paper in a sequence to get a specific shape, but what most people don’t realize is its strong connection with math and how it can actually help kids understand math concepts better! It is believed to help kids learn more about geometry, fractions, and problem-solving.

The exhibit is a part of the Far Out Gallery of Wonders and is included in the regular admission price. The Gallery of Wonders is also home to optical illusion artwork that contains hidden objects and riddles to challenge guests and give them a chance to explore different perspectives.
