Many visitors don’t realize that they can avoid the seasonal traffic into the park by choosing to take the entrance located on the Wears Valley side of the park. Not only does the Wears Valley entrance, also known as the Wears Cove entrance, offer the same beautiful views that visitors to the area love, but there are also a few scenic Smoky Mountain driving routes that they can take for an even closer look of the natural beauty of the area.
