The Best Way to Experience the Pigeon Forge Lights This Winter

Winterfest signPigeon Forge Winterfest is kicking off on November 12 with the ‘switching on’ of over 5 million holiday lights across the city. At Visit My Smokies, we understand that it’s difficult for every visitor to make it to the Pigeon Forge Winterfest kick off, so we put together the details about the Pigeon Forge Trolley Tour of Lights. The trolley tour gives every vacationer the ability to see the sparkling lights this holiday season, without having to worry about driving through town.

About the Pigeon Forge Trolley Tour

Leave the driving to the trolley staff this holiday season! In order to see the beautiful lights throughout Pigeon Forge, all visitors need to do is park their cars at Patriot Park, at the main Pigeon Forge trolley station. From Patriot Park, your family will board a Pigeon Forge trolley and ride through the city, seeing the bright and colorful lights.

Since the weather is much cooler in the winter months, the Pigeon Forge trolleys are heated to keep families warm and toasty throughout the tour. A tour guide will be along for the ride to share stories about special light displays along the way.

Pricing for the Pigeon Forge Trolley Tour

To be a part of the trolley tour, tickets cost only $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased the day of the tour.

Departure Times for the Tour of Lights

The tour of lights will run every day, three times a night in November and December. Nightly departure times are: 6:30, 7:45 and 9 p.m. In January, tours only run on Mondays and Fridays.

Be sure to SHARE this post with your friends, so everyone can experience the magical holiday lights of Pigeon Forge this winter!
