The new cafe aims to give visitors a “taste of how the story started.” The menu items celebrate the roots of Paula’s career with food items that give you a taste of Paula’s family traditions paired with the convenience of a cafe. Where Paula Deen’s Bag Lady Cafe Got Its Start
In June 1989, Paula started a business out of her own home and called it “The Bag Lady” because they served bag lunches around Savannah, Georgia to area business people. Today, Paula continues to bring together traditional Southern flavors while bringing friends and family together in the community.
