When you stay in one of their luxury camping sites, you will have access to electricity, heat and air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. Not only will you have some things that make life easier, but you can also choose from three unique Smoky Mountain camping experiences!

Three Ways to Glamp

The most interesting thing about this new camping resort in the Smoky Mountains is that there are three different accommodations for lodging. Depending on what amenities you are looking for and the size of your group, you can choose the adventure that is right for you. Here is a breakdown of all the exciting new options:

1. Glamping tipis

The tipis at Smoky Hollow Outdoor Resort are perfect for a couples’ getaway. All the tipis include a king side bed, mini fridge, microwave, bath towels for two, a dinette set, and a charcoal grill! We guarantee the experience of camping inside a tipi is one that you don’t want to miss out on!

2. Conestoga Wagons

This is arguably the most unique style of camping that the resort offers. The wagons are designed to resemble the ones that were used in the 18th and 19th centuries. Back in the olden days, they were used to transport goods and were pulled by horses, mules, or oxen. However, the ones you will find at the resort are probably a little nicer than the ones from those days. These are the perfect camping spots for small families. They include a king size bed, bunk beds, a coffee pot, a picnic table, and so much more!

3. Honeybear Hideout Cabin

The cabin at Smoky Hollow allows your family to enjoy nature while still having all the luxuries of your everyday life. It has a full sized bathroom, a queen size bed, and a washer and dryer!

More Things to Know

When you stay at Smoky Hollow Outdoor Resort, there is a good chance you will see some wildlife roaming around the property! Since the campground has opened, there have been reports of people seeing goats, chickens, deer, and bobcats! The combination of wildlife viewing and the landscape of the Smoky Mountains makes this one of the hottest new places to stay in the Smokies.

Although the resort just recently opened, the owners have been amazed by the popularity of their new camping experience. In the near future, they have said the resort will add more wagons and tipis. In addition, Smoky Hollow is getting ready to launch a new section of the campground, which will feature amazing tree houses for people to stay in! What to Bring

Because these camping styles are a little more on the luxurious side, they provide some of the things that you would have to pack for a normal camping trip. With that being said, they still recommend you bring along a few items that will make your stay more enjoyable. Some of the things you should plan on packing include food, cooking utensils, extra blankets, toiletries, and non-slip shoes. Each site comes with two camping chairs, but if you are expecting guests you will want to bring extras for them.
