About the New Themed Show

On May 5, Puy du Fou signed a letter of intent to develop a new themed show at “The 407: Gateway to Adventure” project. This new show will be Puy du Fou’s first attraction outside of Europe. The current plan for the new addition is a themed show inspired by stories of heroism by Cherokee natives during World War I. Puy du Fou is a team of lovers of history and cultural roots, and the show will represent that love. You haven’t seen anything like this before in the Smoky Mountains!

What is Puy du Fou?

Puy du Fou is more than your typical theme park. Based in Western France, the attraction is known for its theatrical performances and immersive shows. One immersive show at its France location is called “Le Premier Royaume,” and brings visitors into a highly immersive set, where they’ll be transported to the origins of France using effects with water, lifelike decoration, 3D video mapping and more. An attraction with experiences like this will add a brand new opportunity for family fun in the Smoky Mountains!
