Speaking Of the show, guests will also enjoy a brand new musical score and aerial act that is sure to wow crowds. According to Dixie Stampede’s website, this is the biggest change the theater has experience since opening its doors in 1988.

This year, Dixie Stampede will celebrate its 28th season of entertaining families and guests in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. And, although a lot has changed over the years, the staff at the popular Pigeon Forge dinner show have always made family-friendly entertainment their main focus.

The show consists of two teams, The North and The South, that compete against each other for the title of main victor. The competitions include a variety of trick horse riding with a ton of comedy and music tossed in.

Be sure to arrive early! An hour before the show begins, families and guests are invited to join the staff at Dixie Stampede for an opening act of a live bluegrass band.
