Snow tubing in Gatlinburg is a fun activity for people of all ages! You’ll have a blast flying down the hill again and again during your riding period, and it’s just as fun making your way back up the hill!

During your 90-minute session time at Ober Mountain, you can experience all of the fun of tubing downhill in the snow without having to make the long hike up the mountain. After snow tubing down the hill, Ober Mountain’s “Magic Carpet” escalator will take you back to the top of the mountain so you can tube downhill over and over again.

The snow tubing hill at Ober Mountain features 10 lanes across a 350-foot hill, so you can race against friends and family as you speed downhill.

Ober Mountain Snow Tubing Hours

Ober’s snow tubing season beings mid to late November each year and runs until March. Tubing sessions last 90 minutes and are available throughout the day. Generally speaking, sessions take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. Keep in mind that the snow tubing sessions can be canceled and some session times fill up quicker than others.

How to Buy Tickets for Gatlinburg Snow Tubing

snow tubingTickets for Gatlinburg snow tubing at Ober Mountain are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be purchased online or at the on-site ticket office.

Same-day tickets are sold at the snow tubing ticket office on the mountain. If you want to purchase tickets in advance, you can purchase them at the advance tubing ticket office in the Tramway Mall located downtown, the tubing ticket office on the mountain, or online.

Ober Snow Tubing Age Restrictions

Anyone ages 3+ can go snow tubing at Ober Mountain! To ride a snow tube alone, children must be at least 5 years old. Children ages 3-4 can ride with an adult. 

Gatlinburg Snow Tubing Prices
