Top 3 Smoky Mountains Events Your Family Won’t Want To Miss This February

Winterfest signThere is always something fun and exciting going on in the Smoky Mountains; however, this February the excitement is kicking it up a notch with three ‘must do’ events you and your family will not want to miss.

Saddle Up

The Saddle Up event in Pigeon Forge is a one of a kind experience. A dedication to all things Cowboy, Saddle Up is a great place for the whole family. Showcasing authentic Western-style music, Chuck Wagon meals, tons of presentations, and more, there is no doubt that you and your loved ones will walk away from this Smoky Mountain event with lots of long-lasting memories.

This year’s Saddle Up event will be held at the brand new LeConte Events Center in Pigeon Forge February 18-22. Admission for most presentations or events are free, but some of the concerts and dinners do cost admission.

Winterfest

Winterfest is the Smoky Mountains’ tribute to all things wintery. Featuring millions of twinkling lights that line the Parkway in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, as well as tons of festive activities, Winterfest is one of the best holiday events in the Smokies. Winterfest is running now through the end of February.

Valentine’s Day

It’s not February without of course mentioning Valentine’s Day! Just a few short weeks away, this romantic holiday is the perfect excuse for you and your loved one to spend a couple days tucked away in the Smoky Mountains. Although there is no specific event dedicated to this holiday, there is still plenty of things to do in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to celebrate. You can treat your special someone to a nice romantic dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants in the area, or you can spend your time relaxing in a secluded Smoky Mountain cabin rental in front of a warm fire.
