What to Expect at the National Quartet Convention

In case you didn’t know, the National Quartet Convention is the largest Southern Gospel singing event in the world. This year, event organizers expect over 40,000 attendees from more than 13 countries to come together and celebrate their love for music.

A week-long event, the convention features over 500 exhibitors, nearly 300 Gospel artists and a countless number of fans. With this many people, we can guarantee that there will be no shortage of new things to discover and inspirational music to hear.

For a preview of this year’s event, watch this interview with Clarke Beasley, an organizer of the National Quarter Convention:

The National Quartet Convention 2017 will make use of a state-of-the-art video imaging system. This will help make every seat in the house feel as if you are sitting in the front row.

The floor plan will feature staggered seating. This means you won’t have to worry about someone tall sitting in front of you and blocking your view. It also improves the overall visibility of the performances.

Finally, the last 10-15 rows of seating will be slightly elevated on risers. This will be a huge benefit to guests choosing to sit toward the back of the concert hall.
