The windows at Smoky Skies reach to the peak of the cathedral ceiling, and through them the Smoky Mountain panorama stretches as far as the eye can see. Six bedrooms, five baths, fourteen guests, a two-story stacked stone fireplace, two queen bedrooms with their own private fireplaces, a kids' playroom bunk suite with a curtained hideaway, a dedicated theater room, a three-game game room with a wet bar, a workout area, a loft bonus living room, a hot tub and tabletop fire pit on the upper deck, and downtown Gatlinburg a short drive below. Smoky Skies is a genuinely complete destination — one where the cabin makes as strong a case for staying in as the mountains make for going out.
The Views & Living Area
Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the mountain panorama inside from every seat in the main living area — the two-story stacked stone fireplace running from October through February on one wall, the Smokies on the other, and contemporary leather seating and a flat-screen TV between them. The designer kitchen has marble counters, charcoal-gray cabinetry, modern chandeliers, a Keurig and coffee maker, and everything needed for group cooking at any scale. The variegated wood dining table seats eight with three more at the island — a sunlit space surrounded by windows on two sides.
The Theater Room & Game Room
The dedicated theater room has leather recliners and a large flat-screen TV — a proper movie night setup for the full group. The adjacent game room runs three games — pool table, air hockey, and foosball — alongside a wet bar with a mini fridge, making it a fully self-sufficient floor for an entire evening. Between the two, the group always has somewhere to be after dinner.
The Bedrooms
Two king master bedrooms have wood-and-leather beds, honey-toned wood accents, and spa-worthy en suite baths — soaking tub, double-sink marble vanity, stone-tiled shower stall. Two queen bedrooms each have their own private in-room fireplace, a genuinely rare feature that makes them feel like suites rather than standard rooms. The fifth bedroom is a kids' paradise: full-over-full bunk beds (four full-size sleeping spots), a play kitchen, a kid-sized table and chairs, toys, and a curtained hideaway for reading and daydreaming. The sixth bedroom has a standard bunk set and sits on the main level — no stairs required.
The Workout Area & Loft
An elliptical machine, stationary bike, and weight bench give health-focused guests a way to keep their routine on vacation. The loft bonus living area looks out over the main floor's cathedral ceilings and mountain views, with a loveseat, armchair, and flat-screen TV — the group's quieter third gathering space.
The Decks & Hot Tub
The upper deck has the hot tub and a tabletop fire pit with seating — a combination that makes evenings outside feel genuinely eventful. The lower covered deck handles the slower hours. A gas grill and an electric grill cover outdoor cooking, and five parking spaces handle the full group on arrival.
