The cabin has a metal roof. There is no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof, you will hear it. If it rains, you will hear it.

There is Wifi but it can be slow at times due to the location.

We are in bear country. There is a strong possibility you will see a bear during your stay.

The cabin is in a mountain setting. Roads are typically clear and accessible by any vehicle, but winter weather is possible during the winter months. Local roads can be snow-covered, are curvy and steep. If your vacation is scheduled during the winter months, be prepared to drive in the snow and/or ice to reach the cabin. We highly recommend 4-wheel drive and/or chains during winter events.
