BEARS HIDEAWAY is a single-story real log cabin which has 2 king bedrooms and 2 full baths. Gas fireplace logs and 42" TV in great room with leather sofas, 32" flat screen TVs in the bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots. POOL TABLE in the loft game room, also ARCADE GAME TABLE for 2 and 2 futons with linens available.
New HOT TUB on the covered front porch. Beach towels are in a basket by the door to the hot tub.
This cottage is in a gated 1300 acre community close to the Pigeon Forge city limits. Shagbark has a community SWIMMING POOL available Memorial Day weekend until the end of September. TENNIS COURTS, BASKETBALL GOAL by the Community Center 3150 N. Clear Fork Road. PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT and WALKING TRAIL in the meadow off N. Clear Fork Road along the creek with 2 parking areas. Shagbark only has about 246 cabins scattered throughout the wooded hills and year round creek that will make you think you are in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Wild turkeys, raccoons and bears wander throughout the forests. Please be careful and do NOT feed the bears.
