The space
Welcome to Bear Ridge Escape, a spacious Smoky Mountain retreat where incredible views, privacy, and plenty of entertainment come together. Set on more than 5 private acres, this 3,132-square-foot cabin offers sweeping 180° mountain views and plenty of room for families and groups to relax and reconnect.

Whether you're soaking in the hot tub, enjoying coffee on the deck, challenging the family to a game of pool, or settling in for movie night in the private theater, Bear Ridge Escape was designed for making memories in the mountains.

Main Living Space

The main level welcomes you with soaring ceilings, warm wood finishes, and large windows showcasing the beautiful mountain views. Comfortable seating makes this a great gathering space for relaxing together, while the open layout flows into the kitchen and dining area.

Kitchen & Dining

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, along with a coffee bar stocked with K-cups, coffee, creamers, syrups, and to-go cups.

Enjoy meals together indoors or head outside to the spacious deck, where you'll find outdoor dining for 8 and a Weber gas grill—all with the Smoky Mountains as your backdrop.

Sleeping Arrangements

Bear Ridge Escape sleeps up to 12 guests with sleeping spaces throughout the cabin:

Upper Loft: King bed + twin-over-queen bunk
Queen Bedroom: 1 queen bed
Bunk Room: Twin-over-queen bunk + twin trundle
Theater Room: Full-size sleeper sofa

Please note: The king bed and bunk are located within the same open loft area and are not separate private bedrooms.

Private Theater

Movie night is a highlight at Bear Ridge Escape! The private theater features a huge 100" screen, reclining theater seating, additional swivel chairs, and a sleeper sofa. A popcorn machine and popcorn supplies add the finishing touch for a cozy night in.

Game & Entertainment Areas

There's plenty to keep everyone entertained without ever leaving the cabin. Enjoy a game of pool, challenge each other on the multi-game arcade, or practice your putting skills on the indoor putting mat.

Outdoor Living

Two spacious decks give you plenty of room to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. The upper deck features comfortable seating, outdoor dining, a fireplace, and TV, while the lower deck is home to the 7-person hot tub and additional seating.

Start your morning with coffee and mountain views, spend the evening soaking in the hot tub, or relax by the outdoor fireplace after a day exploring the Smokies.

Location

Bear Ridge Escape offers the privacy of more than 5 acres while still keeping you within easy reach of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, hiking, and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Guest access
The road leading to Bear Ridge Escape is fully paved. There are a couple of steeper sections as you approach the cabin, and AWD/4WD is recommended during winter weather.

Guests will have access to the entire cabin and outdoor spaces, with the exception of any locked owner’s closets or storage areas.

A keyless entry code will be provided prior to arrival for easy self check-in.

Other things to note
Starter Supplies:
We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish tabs, dish soap, laundry pods, hand soap, and trash can liners. These items are intended to get your stay started. Depending on the length of your stay and size of your group, you may need to purchase additional supplies. Condiments, zip-top bags, foil, and plastic wrap are not provided.

Mountain Roads & Winter Weather:
The road to Bear Ridge Escape is paved but does include a couple of steeper sections. During winter weather, AWD/4WD is highly recommended. Mountain weather can change quickly, so please plan accordingly.

Mountain WiFi & Cell Service:
This is a mountain property, and WiFi and cell service can occasionally be affected by weather, terrain, or service interruptions. We recommend downloading maps and any important information before arriving.

Wildlife & Mountain Living:
Bear Ridge Escape is located on 5+ private acres in the Smoky Mountains, so wildlife and insects are part of the mountain experience. You may encounter bears, deer, insects, mice, or other critters. The cabin receives regular professional pest control, but being surrounded by nature means occasional visitors are still possible.

Never feed or approach bears or other wildlife, and please do not leave food or trash outside. Keep doors closed and all trash properly secured.

Ladybug Season:
Fall and winter can bring ladybugs and similar seasonal insects to Smoky Mountain cabins. They are attracted to warmth and may appear around windows, doors, vents, and other areas even shortly after the cabin has been professionally cleaned and treated for pests.

Weather & Service Interruptions:
Mountain weather and conditions can be unpredictable. Refunds will not be provided for weather, natural disasters, power or internet outages, road conditions, or other circumstances outside of the host's control. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for added protection.

Maintenance:
Please message us through the Airbnb app if you notice a maintenance issue during your stay. Urgent issues will be addressed as appropriate, while minor or non-urgent items may be scheduled for after checkout.
