Almost Heaven
Almost Heaven, a two-bedroom and two and a half bath cabin, is a divine Gatlinburg vacation spot that can accommodate up to seven guests.
Living Room
With its high, cathedral ceiling and exposed beams, the living room is Almost Heaven’s gorgeous centerpiece. Honey-toned wood surrounds you from ceiling to floor, embracing you with natural beauty. The big fireplace of smooth river stones is the beautiful focal point of this spacious room. Flanking the fireplace are huge picture windows, set high up under the ceiling for maximum light and fantastic views of the woods outside. Face the fireplace or the large flat-screen TV as you relax in the plush comfort of a plump couch, loveseat, or deep, embracing recliner.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The country kitchen is one of the prettiest you’ll find in a Smokies cabin. Glass-fronted cabinets and open shelving add to a light and airy feel in this galley kitchen. The wood cabinetry is topped with lovely marble-look counters where you’ll find ample room to prepare gourmet meals for the whole crew, or snacks and coffee for just a few. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, serving, and eating meals to fuel your vacation fun.
In the nearby dining area, adjacent to the living room, set the table for six. You’ll dine on unusual two-toned Windsor chairs around an eye-catching black table. The dining area is tucked next to the living room’s fireplace, for cozy meals by firelight.
Bedrooms
Almost Heaven’s master suite defines luxury. Right there in the bedroom, you’ll enjoy a full-sized fireplace as you relax in your totally private living area with its own sofa and leather recliner—right inside your bedroom. An oversized Jacuzzi tub awaits you, next to the fireplace for warmth and close to a window that overlooks the forest outside. Your king bed is the finishing touch in this amazing suite. The en-suite master bath includes another tub and shower. This suite encourages lingering by the fire, soaking in the Jacuzzi, watching favorite shows undisturbed on the flat-screen TV, and napping in the recliner!
The second bedroom features a queen bed and a classic old-fashioned rocking chair. The same wonderful wood you see throughout the cabin continues in both bedrooms, for a rustic outdoor feel. The queen bedroom has its own attached, full bath. There’s a convenient half-bath in this cabin, too.
Outdoor Spaces
A roofed, screened porch gives you views of distant mountain ridges and nearby trees bustling with birds and alive with fall colors and spring greenery. Rest in the wicker armchairs or couch, or while away hours in the porch swing. Two padded rocking chairs make great spots for hanging out while you sip on coffee, hot chocolate, local fruit wine, or Tennessee moonshine.
A bubbling hot tub at one end of the porch promises plenty of warm relief from aching muscles after hikes, days out in the national park, or days spent shopping! Because it’s undercover on the porch, the hot tub is ready for you any time of day in most any weather.
