Albright Grove Loop Hiking Trail

Albright Grove Loop Hiking Trail located in the Cosby Area off of Baxter Road just past Yogi’s Campground the trail is 7 miles long round trip with an elevation gain of 1500' with a strenuous difficulty rating for hiking abilities and fitness level required. Starting from the Maddron Bald Trailhead to reach the junction of Albright Grove Loop you will pass a historic structure known as the Baxter Cabin, Indian Camp Creek Valley, and near an old cemetery. Albright Grove Loop is a great place to see old growth cove hardwood trees with some of the largest trees in the Great Smoky Mountains.
