Ace Gap Hiking Trail

Ace Gap Hiking Trail located in the Cades Cove area the trail is 4.4 miles long round trip with an elevation gain of 1125' with moderate difficulty rating for hiking abilities and fitness level required. A peaceful trail that has an abundance of wildflowers including some protected species. Ace Gap named for the spot being popular in the days of logging for card players to gather and have their games in this area where you will also see the remnants of the rail road bed that the logging trains used to move the timber from the mountain.
