Located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cades Cove Tennessee is a valley that was home to settlers before the formation of the park. As one of the most popular park destinations, Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains draws thousands of visitors each day for its hiking access, well preserved 19th century homesteads, horseback riding and bike riding. Visitors often catch glimpses of park wildlife, such as black bears and deer! This one-way, 11-mile loop offers a self-guided tour which takes about 45 minutes in a car. You also can take a walking tour where you’ll get a closer look of the homesteads.
